A worldwide project
Batala is a worldwide project with musical roots in Bahia, Brazil.
We belong to a worldwide project of musicians, with over 1500 percussionists playing the music of Bahia, Brazil as built by that culture and created by Giba Conclaves. All bands support our origins by supporting the locals of Bahia, who make the drums we use and the costumes we wear.
